For many people, online spaces are not just tools they use. They are places where they spend their time, form relationships, ask questions, and look for belonging. While this is especially visible among younger generations, isolation in online spaces now reaches people of every age.
And for most of them, no one is going to meet them there.
If the church is not here, the church is not present.
If people are living, searching, and forming community in digital spaces, then the Church should be present there with the hope of Jesus.
…how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?…
What is a Digital Missionary?
A missionary sent into digital spaces to build relationships, share the hope of Jesus, and cultivate Gospel-centered community among people who may never walk into a church first.
Like traditional missionaries, Digital Missionaries go where people are, learn the culture, build trust, proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and help people take faithful next steps toward in-person Christian community.
